Primary Parachute Mindfulness Programme
Alongside our parachute plus programmes for secondary schools, colleges and universities, we have now opened up our mindfulness programmes to primary schools across the UK!
Parachute, which can be delivered as part of the PSHE curriculum, as an intervention programme or as a stand-alone, equips teachers with an imaginative resource which secures pupil’s interest and active participation.
The Parachute package includes –
- A short fun and engaging animated film
- A series of easy to follow videos
- A class set of books and downloadable, time-saving teaching and learning resources
- Certificates – to reward participation and encourage continued practise.
Our programme also provides well-being training for staff as a nominated teacher will also receive online training to support the programme from our qualified mindfulness teacher.
The programmes are designed for ease of delivery. They run over six weeks (6 x 1hr sessions). Staff training is held over zoom and can take place over lunchtimes or the courses can be split over holiday periods.
Our courses are a great way for schools to enhance their PSHE curriculum – a key consideration of OFSTED’s inspection criteria.

Moban and Sky
Introducing Moban and Sky, who help to deliver our Parachute course in a fun and accessible way.
They help to teach pupils to be calm, confident and in control of their emotions.
Our programme is delivered using an animated film, videos, postcards and a beautifully illustrated book which introduces the two animal characters, Moban and Sky, who explain the techniques and science behind mindfulness.
The book is designed for adults and children to use together and is not age specific.

Remember, the science says that regular practice delivers the best results to keep us all healthy and happy. To support you on your journey we have a downloadable journal for you to record your practices every day – please use it. Also, you can find our stress and mindfulness tests below – just click on the links. They’re quick and easy to do and you’ll be given a score to help you understand your very own starting point.
